The beer selection is decent and the live music on the weekends is a cool idea. The food is not high quality or anything special and the coffee prices are astronomical. I will gladly pay for a great cup of coffee, but uncommon coffee is nothing special and is prepared poorly here. The owner is rude to employees and to vendors in front of customers, which is why I will not be returning here. It's a shame because the coffee and bar idea is unique, but I refuse to support a business that's owned by someone who does not have the basic human decency to value her workers or treat vendors with respect.

We had a Groupon for a flight of beers, so we stopped by after a day at the nearby State Park (PJ Hoffmaster). At first we thought our GPS mislead us because the place looks more like a coffee house than a bar. It's more of a european concept, with the Bar being a place for all drinks, but unlike in Europe, the coffee section and bar section are seperated-as well as being an open floor plan-if that makes any sense. The bartender, Jane, was great. She prepared our selection of Michigan beers on a cool board shaped like a michigan mitten theme. She also brought us some extra selections to try while we were sampling our beers. The Monkey Butter was amazing-its a porter that tastes of chocolate and coffee-yum. Jane made us a drink to try called the espresso shot. It consisted of 3 liquors and a shot of espresso shaken with ice and poured into a short martini glass. Fantastic! Loved the brewhouse and only wish it was located closer to home.....

The staff is very nice, but the owner is very disrespectful to not only her employees but also to her vendors. She has no respect for people or their feelings. She has yet to pay several of her previous employees after months of them leaving.

One of my favorite places in Muskegon! Very high end, always friendly staff, great coffee, good enough food, and the prices are not too high overall. I come here frequently when I'm looking to get out of the home office for a while. If you're near Muskegon stop by, you won't regret it!

As a previous reviewer stated, the atmosphere here is top-notch. Just enough ambient noise to keep the squirrel part of your brain occupied, without it being overwhelming. This is the best place in Muskegon for a real latte - excellent roast, pulled properly, with mile-high foam. If you like sweet stuff, the Salted Caramel is amazing. The recent savory menu additions have been great - the hummus snack packs are a perfect pick me up with a Toddy! The booths are super comfy, perfect for spreading all your stuff out when it's not so busy - I come in fairly regularly to study when my classes are in session. Staff is friendly, too.

This place is exactly what Norton Shores needs. It has a great atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and catch up with old friends. The furniture around the fireplace makes a great place to read a book. I haven't had the opportunity to try all their different coffee's but the drip coffee I had was pretty good. The only negative thing I have to say is that their selection of baked goods are rather sweet. It would be nice if they had some things to munch on without so much sugar.
